If people would focus their prayer lives on evangelism, would they become instruments of good news to others?  Using Terry Tekyl's Personal Prayer-Evangelism Guide in a Sunday school program, participants were asked to pray daily.  To measure evangelistic change, participants answered a questionnaire, once initially, another after the study, and the last twelve weeks later. Positive changes were seen in participants' prayer habits, attitudes, and evangelistic activities. A model--the scriptural self-analysis--was used to change thought and emotional patterns in a thirty-day program. The theologies of womanhood in evangelical traditionalists, revelationists and modern feminism were taught in eight sessions.  The Tennessee Self-Concept Scale was the instrument of measurement for results. The methodology reflects the utilization of pre-fast and post-fast multiple choice questionnaires designed to test spiritual concerns, attitudes, and knowledge pertaining to fasting. The hypothesis stated that such materials would motivate families to conduct Bible studies with their children.  A parent evaluation of the project and a Bible test for children did not validate the hypothesis, but they did indicate that parents would welcome help in teaching the Bible at home. The second workshop was on the development of communication skills (empathetic listening and assertive self-disclosure as vehicles to becoming collaborative).  The Whitehead method of experience in dialogue with the culture and tradition predominated. The hypothesis is that religion is still significant in the black drug sub-culture, whether they attend church or not.  A survey was conducted among 15 drug users in the Highland Park vicinity of Richmond, Virginia.  This survey form consisted of values that people hold and are passed on in families through the generations; family structures and interaction patterns; sources of pereceived stress; and demographic data.  The data revealed that the overwhelming majority of the respondents were either fairly or very religious; none of the respondents indicated they were not religious at all.  Though the overwhelming majority were religious, a significant majority of the respondents do not attend religious services at all. Many of the life values that are important to non-drug-using cultures are important to the black drug sub-culture.  The black drug sub-culture expects things to get better for them in the future and in general are
