This project considers how a local church jail ministry team can help address this problem through a weekly recovery-focused Bible study. Serving as chaplain volunteers, a men's team and a women's team entered the jail bringing a focus on Twelve Step Recovery while examining biblical roots of the steps. This project developed the first part of a Chaplain's Academy that focuses on the 'Foundations of Law Enforcement Chaplaincy.' The project focus and scope were to plan, develop and lead the first four curriculum sessions of the Chaplain's Academy - Foundations of Law Enforcement Chaplaincy - and include the following elements: 1) The Law Enforcement Family, 2) Legal Liability/Confidentiality/Privileged Information, 3) Sensitivity and Diversity, 4) Ethics. This project examined two coaching tools, Gallup StrengthsFinder and World Harvest Mission Gospel-Centered Life, to determine if using them in combination improved team effectiveness to a greater degree than using either tool alone.  Seventeen participants on two core leadership teams from church plants in urban Philadelphia were trained with both tools.  The qualitative research was conducted by self-evaluation surveys that gathered  information before and after each phase of training. Nine individuals were asked what made them receptive to the charismatic experience. Common influence factors were identified which the group members shared and which made them receptive to the charismatic experience. The research question asked was,'If Christians are equipped by their minister for marriage enrichment, will their marriages be strengthened?' The primary research question was, 'What are the major components that contribute to member care with One Mission Society? The study used the quantitative research method. An electronic survey was given to 115 One Mission Society field-based missionaries--78 responses were received and recorded. The survey questions were developed from the precedent research. Data is based on interviews with pastors from multicultural churches.
