From 300 pages of verbatim transcripts of these meetings, six themes emerge: loss, longing, search, journey, connection, new life. Employing qualitative, descriptive, ethnographic research, the project interviews ill and injured persons in depth and develops a Coping Mechanism Assessment Tool (CMAT) to process the data from these interviews.
