This project included four primary tasks. First, the project began with a defined demographics study of the population surrounding the community of Hornbeck, Louisiana, and an internal institutional analysis of First Baptist Church, Hornbeck, Louisiana. The analysis of the resulting data provided an assessment of the Church revitalization potential for First Baptist Church, Hornbeck, Louisiana. Second, the project director researched effective church revitalization strategies and formulated a report of the best practices foe church revitalization. Third, the project director assembled a selected group of members of First Baptist Church, Hornbeck, Louisiana into a revitalization strategy team and equipped them to develop a strategy to aid in the revitalization of First Baptist Church, Hornbeck, Louisiana. The project director utilized various methodologies of instruction such as the 'Think-Pair-Share Strategy', a signed civenant/commitment card, and role-play so that the participants would achieve optimal learning. Experts in the field of instruction and deacon ministry provided evaluation to the project director in order to ensure completion of the stated project and professional goals. The project director developed and preached a series of sermons that incorporated biblical models of the invitation. Additionally, the project director utilized an expert evaluator and a sixteen-member evaluation group to evaluate the developmentd and delivery of the sermons and their invitations. The strategy team met once a week for six weeks to develop the strategy for the church. The project director, based on completed research, instructed the strategy team on the findings of millennial research, outreach practices, and strategy planning essentials. The project director then led the team to develop the multifaceted strategy. As a result of the research, a greater understanding of the soteriological issues and the various biblical interpretations was gained. The data was then compiled into a format that is easy to understand and engage. Modern teaching resources which have proven to be effective in training students were employed in developing the new curriculum. Following the ministry skill enhancement model, the project director researched the field of life application preaching. The project director developed a 'Life Application Preaching Annotated Bibliography' and a 'Life Application Preaching Best Practices' document. The project director then developed a four-week sermon series and preached the sermons at Warrior Chapel, Baghdad, Iraq, where the project director serves as the Baghdad Diplomatic Support center Chaplain. The project gathered a select group of subject matter experts to evaluate his sermons.
