Over a six-week period the project guides a small group of 10 adults from Lumberton, North Carolina, in a process of group dialogue that moves them to reflect on adolescent experiences and Christian faith. The project centers around the Church as symbol.  The central question is addressed in a practicum which consists of seven two-hour sessions that use the five movements of shared praxis and in thirteen faith development interviews before and after the practicum.  The interviews are conducted according to James Fowler's short interview form.  The data reveals that there is no faith development change when this model is used.
