This study involved the placement process within the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida during the past five years. Thirty parishes were evaluated after placement of clergy to determine the matching process' success.  The result of the examination indicated that the process works when followed carefully and without circumvention. The project helped determine the church's mission to the community, focused the church's witness to faith in Jesus Christ amidst recent community transitions, and guided the church to be intentional about its future. The objective is to evaluate the thesis that seasonal residents will increase involvement in the life of the congregation as meaningful relationships are established, and as they are made to feel a part of the congregation.  To test the thesis a model of ministry is developed, tested, and evaluated.  The results indicate the validity of the thesis.
