The research was intended to show trends and attitudes.  The study began with the premise that Southern Baptist theology and praxis holds a rigid view of divorce when applied to pastors and fails to allow for divorce for any cause other than adultery.  The research consisted of interviews, letters, questionnaires, books, articles, and tapes.  The study was limited to the preaching pastor only.  Respondents as a consensus offered little encouragement to the divorced pastor returning to the pulpit.  There was a strong indication that pastors in the Southern Baptist Convention are taking a more moderate view toward divorced persons in their congregations. By processing the potential for conflict and developing procedures to address it, valuable time and precious fellowship can be conserved. This project uses the focused interview to identify transitional difficulties and the availability of assistance in these categories: theological, personal, economic, familial and relocation.  It draws conclusions, with correlative implications, from these interviews.  Southern Baptist ministers, generally, are not adversely affected by ministry in the military.  They usually return successfully to ministry within their denomination. A psychometric tool, the 'Anger Self Report', was adminstered to a population of Texas Panhandle Southern Baptist clergy.  Areas explored included awareness of anger, general expresison of anger, physical expression of anger, verbalization of guilt and anger, condemnation of anger, and mistrust. Since this prediction is rapidly becoming a reality, the author shows the viability of this ministry. He researched the theological/biblical basis, the historical background, and the lives and ministries of ten bivocational and five full-time pastors in order to understand this ministry.  Information gathered was used to develop a workshop manual in the areas of time management, pastoral counseling and educational opportunities. Many current programs and activities are based upon historical traditions.  The author saw a need to evaluate present procedures in the light of history feeling that such a study would reveal any effective or fragmented practices and policies, strengthen the present ministry, and contribute to the design of future strategy.  After reading extensively in the areas of biblical and theological foundations for missions, missiology, historiography and Spanish history, the author thoroughly investigated the records, minutes, documents and archives of the Baptist mission to Spain and interviewed missionaries and Spaniards having a personal knowledge of the history of the mission.  Letters and documents were obtained from other religious agencies. This study evaluates the Ten Basic Tenets of Thai Buddhism (Gotama Buddha, Dhamma, Sangha, Dukkha, Samuddhadai, Niroddha, Magga, Sila, Vipassana and Panya) from a conservative Christian perspective.  It also offers a new paradigm to create an interfaith dialogue between Christians and Buddhists.
