Through administrative changes, promotions, and incorporating the library into the general function of the education ministry, this project received measurable success.  The only limitation of the project's success was that it had little impact on those who were not involved with the education ministry (e.g. Sunday school, Wednesday evening Bible study, etc). The project adapted Jackson Carroll and James Hopewell's process for congregational study using both research instruments and guided interviews with small groups to develop a church's identity story.  A theoretical base for using story in local church ministry was presented. A narrative of the small group's interaction and reaction to the production of a story of identity was provided. Two separate studies were conducted during the project.  An eight-week course for youth looked at biblical perspectives on self-esteem.  A ten-week class for parents surveyed ways to provide a positive environment within the home.  Questionnaires provided before and after the studies revealed that improvement was evident. People participated in two consecutive seven-week cycles of prayer partnerships. There was an education seminar at the beginning and an evaluation seminar at the conclusion of each cycle.  A pretest and a posttest were administered to participants and non-participants; an evaluation survey was administered to participants. Clinical studies and the work of Dr Elisabeth Kübler-Ross and others are utilized to show the physical and emotional effects of grief on individuals, while identifying the stages of grief and personal characteristics needed in a grief ministry.  A long-term approach to the support of the bereaved is advocated.  The project consisted of eight training sessions, concluding with a commissioning service. A quasi-experimental social research design and relevant literary research were used in studying relational evangelism.  The experimental group received the teaching; the control group did not receive any training. Results were compared in pretests and posttests.  It was concluded the Christ did use relational evangelism as a primary tool of evangelizing others.  The adaptation of learnings gleaned from the study was applied to a local church setting. Chapter 3 describes the involvement of the congregation, the development of the research tools, and the implementation of the research design.  The selection of participants for the various parts of the study and the presentation of research data from the churches are highlights of this chapter.  The ministry as conducted is described in chapter 4.  This chapter details the steps involved in the preaching and teaching ministry, and provides the synopses of the sermons preached to the Flint Hill congregation and the lessons taught to the small group. Chapter 5 evaluates the effectiveness of the methods chosen for this project. The two different methods are compared to determine their relative success and to determine the most effective. Contemporary models consisted of Lyle Schaller, Robert Dale and Kennon Callahan. Certain motivational methods of each person are examined and discussed in capsule form. Chapter 4 presents the project preparation and implementation.  The preparation section presents project approval and data collection.  The implementation section presents a capsule form of the sessions.  Chapter 5 evaluates the project's data collected from interviews, questionnaires and participant evaluation. This project tested the hypothesis that enhanced communication and improved personality awareness among spouses would enrich marriage relationships.  The methodology of this project included theological and social research in the areas of Christian marriage and communication.  Private couple/leader sessions and group sessions were used to implement this project. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, M-BTI Relationship Report, Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis, and Prepare-Enrich Inventory were utilized throughout this project.  The research indicates that couples whose communication skills and personality awareness improve will experience enriched marriage
