An eight-week session curriculum was developed on preventative education to promote healthy lifestyle choices.  The quantitative method included a pre/post test survey given to a sample population. Specifically examined are the institutionalized strategies, programs and approaches as well as on-going mission projects.  This pioneer study utilizes an in-depth participant observation and examines marginalization, contextualization, and transformational development as mission principles.  It contributes important principles for missionaries and development facilitators who work for genuine transformation and liberation among marginalized
