The author draws upon concepts of analytical psychology, seeks appropriate theological correlations, offers psychological-theological exegesis of five biblical passages which project participants used in active imagination, and includes a literary analysis of mid-life individuation issues in The Tempest. The research is informed by a critical review of adult development theories and by theological images appropriate to middle adulthood.  The method includes a written questionnaire.
