The assessment of the project included the administration of both a pre-test and a post-test questionnaire. The goal with the highest results revealed an increased awareness of listening as an active form of communication. Increased awareness as to the role active listening plays in achieving successful outcomes was also noted. The resource described bioethical mediation as a new form of healthcare ministry that helps to resolve misunderstandings, issues, and conflicts among and between healthcare professionals, patients, and family members. The resource was evaluated by ten experts. The premise was that such personal conflicts can lead to emotional wounds, yet they are often met with silence and denial. A panel of experts evaluated the resource on a Likert agreement scale questionnaire. The two most prominent findings were that the resource teaches women to restore peaceful fellowship and reinforces the Christian love ethic. Through exegetical study of Matthew 18 and 1 Corinthians 5 and 6, and drawing from the current literature and personal interviews of church conflict practitioners, a protocol was developed fusing together organizational, interpersonal, scriptural, and scientific approaches to help individuals, churches and regions address conflict within the Vineyard church. Twelve experienced African-American clergy were selected to evaluate the manual using closed and open-ended questions.  The manual was rated as most effective in helping clergy discern the leading of God in conflict situations.  The manual also received high ratings in terms of its ability to help African-American clergy become more aware of how their values, beliefs, experiences, and history affect their ability to manage conflict.
