The project analyzes the point of separation between theological left and right, a history and current understanding of dialogue, models for dialogue, and potential obstacles to dialogue.  Within this framework it proposes an original set of guidelines for persons engaging in dialogue. This project describes a process for developing a written staff covenant with a large church staff based on the order and theological bases of Reformed (Christian) worship.  The project examines the Trinitarian image of God as a theological model for good human (staff) relationships; relates Trinitarian theology to modern models of organizational management; and highlights the order of Lord's Day worship as a theological superstructure for meaningful church staff community.  A process that develops a written staff covenant emerges from the initial theological study. Particular emphasis is given to exploring preaching and leadership styles which encourage meaningful change.  A process was developed for drafting, revising, and approving a mission statement using sermons, surveys, committee evaluations, and congregational information meetings.  This model for change places a high priority on the role of pastor as preacher, liturgist, and theologian.
