This report establishes the rationale for alternatives, summarizes lectionary history, lists and evaluates alternates, and provides two of the author's own lectionaries, Route 66, which explores a non-RCL passage in each book of the Bible, and the Progressive Dinner Lectionary, which highlights table scenes in the Bible.
