theologies to provide direction and critical insight in assessing and reimagining institutional self-representation at four year, Catholic Hispanic-serving institutions (HSI) in the United States of America. Using a methodology developed from Latin@ theologies and the tool of web ethnography, the author studies the web and social media sites of four HSIs in different geographic regions. Critical pedagogies and LatCrit theory provide lenses to evaluate the data gathered through web ethnographies. Making use of critical pedagogies and its constitutions and statutes, the author attends to the community's tradition, the lived experience of Redemptorists, and the U.S. cultural milieu. The author formulates a process of formation that reimagines an exclusive focus on the individual, positing one that is community centered and dialogic. He addresses three different formative moments for pastoral response; the novitiate, transition to ministry, and ongoing formation. This thesis was that prevailing church culture and teaching related to homosexuality tend to inhibit open conversation about the meaning and impact of the erotic energy experienced in a sexually-diverse community.
