The study used a narrative questionnaire of nearly one hundred Reformed pastors throughout the United States and semi-structured interviews with four additional pastors preaching from within a Reformed theological understanding.  The study revealed a heavy reliance on writing in both the preparation and delivery of sermons.  It found that both pastors and congregants deeply care about sermon delivery.  Multiple approaches to this practice were uncovered, influenced by the preacher's habit, personality, theological beliefs, and training.  A high percentage of pastors lacked training in sermon delivery. The study concluded that pastors in the Reformed tradition spend much more time thinking about sermon preparation than delivery, despite their frustration with their sermon delivery."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["e57e5218-1d34-47f5-b1a5-b84efbc9e61f"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791130635040980992,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:34:43.967Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T12:39:39Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:45:38Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"affff921-8d5b-4e8b-b998-738b00b0a300","accessControl_ssim":["4eb7fcfd-fb86-4cb1-977b-4de49e234ed9"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Strategies for multi-site ministry in the United Methodist Church"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T12:39:38Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T03:12:27Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["7a58c4f5-cd7b-4300-82eb-8b9d15bd812b"],"hasLease_ssim":["7ee3e87e-b793-47f2-a4c3-761e7900dd4b"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["H Harrison Spitler"],"year_tesim":["2009"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Neil C Epler"],"keyword_tesim":["Local church mergers"],"publisher_tesim":["Covenant Theological Seminary (St. Louis, MO)"],"subject_tesim":["Organizational change","Congregations","Evangelistic work","Methodist Church","Church management","Church renewal--Methodist Church"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The purpose of this study was to examine how multi-site ministry is being done in United Methodist churches.  The study looked at three models being used by United Methodist churches for multi-site ministry: purchase and build, church merger, and existing space/rental.  The study used semi-structured interviews with focus groups from three multi-site United Methodist churches.  The study focused on the decision making process in becoming a multi-site church, the transitioning process from a single to multi-site church, the experience of being a multi-site church, and the relationship to the United Methodist hierarchy.  The study found that most churches do not start with the intention of becoming a multi-site church, but are influenced by various factors, including some type of crisis, a strong evangelistic emphasis, or a powerful vision. Regarding the transition process, the study found that a sufficient amount of time and careful planning were necessary for success.  Key factors were a realistic understanding of the difficulties, the importance of leadership, communication within the congregation and outside, effective advertising, and the use of missioners.  The study found that there were struggles as well as benefits in the practice of multi-site ministry.  Leadership and leadership development were important factors.  Benefits included reaching different demographics and providing variety in worship and ministry styles. Struggles included relating to other churches of the same denomination, dealing with finances, and maintaining a sense of unity.  Regarding the relationship with the hierarchy, the study found little information. Most churches experienced minimal help or contact with church officials except in cases of conflict with other churches.  There was often misunderstanding with the multi-site model.  Greater participation by district superintendents and bishops could be expected with the merger model.  The study concluded that multi-site ministry is one effective way that United Methodist churches can expand their ministry and outreach."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["e57e5218-1d34-47f5-b1a5-b84efbc9e61f"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791131326267523072,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:45:43.172Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T12:39:39Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:39:41Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"6cfd460d-fa2b-4ff9-a398-8186d3347b04","accessControl_ssim":["fdd9a3d4-f443-4737-939a-3e5618b904f5"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["The place of the Ten Commandments in the Church of God pulpit"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T12:39:38Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:19:32Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["74d4dd63-6afc-4098-80a4-633d30d2bca3"],"hasLease_ssim":["bd37eaf6-ebde-442b-b16d-3c84f2c8a114"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Philip D Douglass"],"year_tesim":["2009"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Matthew A Taylor"],"publisher_tesim":["Covenant Theological Seminary (St. Louis, MO)"],"subject_tesim":["Clergy","Expository preaching","Social aspects","Evangelicalism","Bible--Homiletic use","Ten commandments","Preaching","Christian life","Christianity and culture","Church of God (Anderson, Ind)"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The purpose of this study is to explore the extent to which Church of God preachers use the Ten Commandments to address their socio-political and ecclesiastical contexts. The study addresses the need for Church of God preachers to engage in cultural dialogue through a fresh preaching of the Ten Commandments.  The literature review surveys scholarly works regarding the context and meaning of the Decalogue in the Old and New Testaments, the meaning of the Commandments in light of a corrosive postmodern value system, and views of scholars and preachers regarding how to preach the Ten Commandments. The study used semi-structured interviews with four pastors in the Presbyterian Church in America and two from the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.  The review of literature examined scripture, Christian literature and secular literature regarding how leaders lead staff teams.  The analysis focused on three areas: how to build trust, what understanding of relational systems are helpful in leading a team, and how personal spiritual growth affects team leadership.  The study found that trust is established as the leader practices consistency of character, motivating the team toward a clear vision, developing good communication, mutual accountability, and building an atmosphere of authentic joy.  Church staff teams were often strengthened and trust built through difficult situations. The study also found that it is vital for effective leaders to understand relational systems.  Finally, the study concluded that spiritual health and vitality are essential for lead pastors to be effective.  Effective leaders have consistent and vital times in Bible study and prayer. The study involved semi-structured interviews with pastors and church leaders from four Presbyterian Church in America churches in the eastern United States.  The study revealed that diverse strategies of revitalization reflect the unique mix of gifts and resources that each church possesses, both in its leaders and laypeople. Effective renewal plans are not borrowed from models provided by other churches, but are carefully crafted to fit each unique congregation.  The study also revealed the importance of communicating a clear rationale and vision for change but also discerning what kind of change the congregation would most readily embrace. Leaders must possess a unitifed commitment to pursue necessary change but also adapt leadership initiatives and style to fit the congregation. The study involved semi-structured interviews with twelve evangelical Protestant converts to Eastern Orthodoxy who reside in Pennsylvania and Georgia.  The interviews and literature review focused on personal, theological, and sociological reasons for the movement.  Among personal reasons, crises, life changing decisions and a desire for spiritual growth played an important part in the convert's decision to move.  Among theological reasons, converts had unanswered questions regarding hermeneutics, ecclesiology, evangelism, worship, authority and the sacraments. Perceived weaknesses in the evangelical Protestant church included the lack of a basis for the interpretation of the Bible, the lack of authority, the lack of unity, the emphasis on individual decisions in conversion, the man centeredeness of worship, being cut off from church history, and the emptiness of the sacraments.  Sociological reasons focused on postmodernism.  Eastern Orthodoxy provided many things postmoderns need and desire: appeal to the senses, meaningful worship, tradition, love and acceptance, and experience and mystery.  The study concluded that the movement of evangelical Protestants to Eastern Orthodoxy was not an evangelistic movement.  Converts were believers before their move to Eastern Orthodoxy.  Many reasons given for conversion point to legitimate deficiencies in the evangelical Protestant church. A concern was raised for the children of the new converts and for long-time members of the ethnic Eastern Orthodox churches because of the obscurity of the gospel.  Evangelical Protestants need to learn more about their own faith and about Eastern Orthodoxy so they can articulate the gospel more clearly with as little offense as possible to unbelieving Eastern Orthodox members.  There also needs to be serious introspection in areas the converts identified as deficiencies in evangelical Protestantism."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["e57e5218-1d34-47f5-b1a5-b84efbc9e61f"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791131060295172096,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:41:29.521Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T12:39:03Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:43:44Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"979b1f0e-9c6a-4a31-b4fb-fca8f94d6075","accessControl_ssim":["251a94fa-e64c-4478-b6fd-4177e2e6344c"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Dueling with death: Christian funeral preaching as dialogue"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T12:39:00Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T02:33:54Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["ac9f6dde-edf2-4a7c-8cfd-9bc34569108e"],"hasLease_ssim":["2a0a69fe-f925-459c-b332-2ad83b3d3edd"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Jerram Barrs"],"year_tesim":["2009"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Jeremy Paul Muniz"],"publisher_tesim":["Covenant Theological Seminary (St. Louis, MO)"],"subject_tesim":["Death","Presence of Jesus Christ","Resurrection","Funeral sermons","Preaching","Hope"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The author research the biblical, historical, and current cultural views of death to discover a methodology for Christian funeral preachers that establishes a dialogue with death and presents mourners with the Scripture's resurrection hope. The study involved semi-structured interviews with fifteen male students of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College and a literature review of attempts to explain the relative lack of men in the church and of material with particular relevance to the Caribbean.  The research questions were designed to elicit views on manhood, Christianity, and the impact of becoming a Christian on a male.  A composite description of a real man, according to the respondents, is one who is strong, assertive, caring, calmly confident, hospitable, wise, loyal, self-reliant, not given to displays of emotion indicating distress, and able to attract women. Positive views of Christianity were that it is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; that it give a sense of belonging; that it upholds sound moral values; and that it has a worldwide appeal.  Pastors were viewed positively as hospitable, moral, and skilled in communicating the Christian message.  Christianity was viewed negatively as too restrictive, having unattainable standards, hypocritical, bigoted, and prone to divisiveness.  A minority saw pastors as con men and leaders who do not set a good example.  Most respondents saw major changes taking place in their lives taking place if they became Christians, with a larger number focusing on new obligations/restrictions and a smaller number on new benefits.  Respondents were more or less evenly divided between encouragement and caution in their reaction to a best friend's decision to become a Christian. Finally, they claimed that young men were reluctant to become Christians because they saw negative consequences such as being linked to the female world; loss of freedom to do what they really like to do, e.g., engage in premarital sex; and loss of friends, especially through refusal to participate in gang activities.  The study concluded that the most significant factors contributing to the difficulty young males have in becoming Christians seem to be those involving a clash between Christianity and culturally constructed views of manhood.  Engaging in premarital sex and participating in gang activities are both marks of manhood in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and both are incompatible with Christianity.  In comparison with a young female who is also considering becoming a Christian, a young male has one additional hurdle to clear: the apparent loss of, or inability to establish, his manhood. This may help explain why fewer young males than young females tend to identify with Christianity."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["e57e5218-1d34-47f5-b1a5-b84efbc9e61f"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791131212668993536,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:43:54.835Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T12:38:36Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:33:21Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"16e2a2c8-eb76-4c50-a0a3-e34a51eac94e","accessControl_ssim":["36b81b7f-1a09-40d5-820b-407d5301d870"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Understanding and equipping the church in its practice of love through hospitality and redemptive conversation"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T12:38:35Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:47:53Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["83a18355-ab2f-4b4b-9a04-6ac89cc344b8"],"hasLease_ssim":["172a0773-a9eb-4605-9d3c-90752538c2ed"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Daniel W Zink"],"year_tesim":["2009"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Timothy A Meendering"],"keyword_tesim":["Practice (Theology)","Worldview"],"publisher_tesim":["Covenant Theological Seminary (St. Louis, MO)"],"subject_tesim":["Christianity and culture","Witness bearing (Christianity)","Hospitality--Religious aspects--Christianity","Christian life","Conversation"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This project has focused on understanding and equipping the church for its practice of love through hospitality and redemptive conversation.  Scripture makes it clear that love for the stranger through the practice of Christian hospitality is a mandate for the church.  Scripture also provides instruction for our conversations which are a critical element for communicating the humility, acceptance and love of the gospel.  This study has demonstrated that while the faithful practice of hospitality and redemptive conversation is a vital part of the church's mission, it is becoming increasingly difficult to be faithful in these practcies.  A review of literature and a series of interviews have exposed the worldview and external factors affecting faithfulness. When interviewees embraced the gospel, were taught by example, were encouraged, and engaged in hospitality and redemptive conversation, the daily resistance and barriers toward faithful practice were often overcome.  Most significant was the affirmation of the indispensability of our theology with a kingdom vision, a grasp and embrace of the gospel, or the compelling power of Christ's love for propelling us into the counter-cultural work of hospitality and redemptive conversation."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["e57e5218-1d34-47f5-b1a5-b84efbc9e61f"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791130552174116864,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:33:24.939Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T12:38:06Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:49:50Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"e7996528-dc1b-4e62-b7c0-69af1403bfda","accessControl_ssim":["d4f97240-7fd2-44db-99d5-b2c79c81ab3b"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Why some Minnesota Baptist youth depart from the faith of their families"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T12:38:05Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:45:25Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["c7dc8d4e-4052-4706-ba39-a9987797adc8"],"hasLease_ssim":["195ff897-e85e-4f29-910a-3c18ad99d072"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Daniel W Zink"],"year_tesim":["2009"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Ivan D Fiske"],"publisher_tesim":["Covenant Theological Seminary (St. Louis, MO)"],"subject_tesim":["Religious aspects","Ex-church members","Youth--Religious life","Church work with youth","Rebellion","Dissenters"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The purpose of this project was to determine why certain Minnesota Baptist Conference (MBC) youth rebel against the faith of their families so that parents, teens, pastors, and denominational leaders might better understand the problem and seek correction based upon the Word of God.  First, a literature review of both Christian and secular sources on teen rebellion was conducted.  It showed that youth rebellion is a major problem in the church and that encouragers of rebellion include peer pressure, consumerism, and sexual pressure, while checks to rebellion include prayer, sound adult relationships, and truth.  Second, twelve interviews were conducted involving both parents and adult children who had rebelled and returned to the faith within the last ten years.  These interviews sought to identify contributions to rebellion in the lives of some MBC youth and checks to rebellion. With respect to warning signs, teen withdrawal and the existence of two (or more) worlds for youth were identified.  Regarding encouragements to rebellion, peer pressure, culture, parenting issues, indifference toward God, and a self-centered worldview emerged as important themes.  Unique data included ignorance of cultural influences, by both parents and youth, and teen personality issues.  Regarding checks to departure from the faith, prayer was very significant.  Other themes included parental and/or adult support and the direct intervention of God.  This project confirms that teen rebellion within the church is a serious matter.  The author believes that conference pastors and other leaders should educate their congregations on teen rebellion and provide care and encouragement for struggling parents and their rebellious teens."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["e57e5218-1d34-47f5-b1a5-b84efbc9e61f"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791131588467097600,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:49:53.224Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":18,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Resource Type"},{"name":"creator_sim","items":[{"value":"Andrew Scott Vander Maas","hits":1,"label":"Andrew Scott Vander Maas"},{"value":"Bede Hadyn Marshall","hits":1,"label":"Bede Hadyn Marshall"},{"value":"Dave W Matthews","hits":1,"label":"Dave W Matthews"},{"value":"David V Silvernail","hits":1,"label":"David V Silvernail"},{"value":"Glenn R Sparks","hits":1,"label":"Glenn R Sparks"},{"value":"Ivan D Fiske","hits":1,"label":"Ivan D Fiske"}],"label":"Creator Sim"},{"name":"contributor_sim","items":[],"label":"Contributor"},{"name":"keyword_sim","items":[{"value":"Congregations--Relocation","hits":1,"label":"Congregations--Relocation"},{"value":"Local church mergers","hits":1,"label":"Local church mergers"},{"value":"Practice (Theology)","hits":1,"label":"Practice (Theology)"},{"value":"Preaching, Reformed","hits":1,"label":"Preaching, Reformed"},{"value":"Relation (Theology)","hits":1,"label":"Relation (Theology)"},{"value":"Worldview","hits":1,"label":"Worldview"}],"label":"Keyword"},{"name":"subject_sim","items":[{"value":"Leadership--Religious aspects--Christianity","hits":4,"label":"Leadership--Religious aspects--Christianity"},{"value":"Christian life","hits":3,"label":"Christian life"},{"value":"Christianity and culture","hits":3,"label":"Christianity and culture"},{"value":"Clergy","hits":3,"label":"Clergy"},{"value":"Evangelicalism","hits":3,"label":"Evangelicalism"},{"value":"Preaching","hits":3,"label":"Preaching"}],"label":"Subject"},{"name":"location_sim","items":[{"value":"Caribbean Area","hits":1,"label":"Caribbean Area"},{"value":"New York (State)--New York","hits":1,"label":"New York (State)--New York"},{"value":"Virginia","hits":1,"label":"Virginia"}],"label":"Location"},{"name":"language_sim","items":[{"value":"English","hits":18,"label":"English"}],"label":"Language"},{"name":"publisher_sim","items":[{"value":"Covenant Theological Seminary (St. Louis, MO)","hits":18,"label":"Covenant Theological Seminary (St. Louis, MO)"}],"label":"Publisher"},{"name":"date_created_sim","items":[],"label":"Date Created"},{"name":"types_sim","items":[{"value":"Text","hits":18,"label":"Text"}],"label":"Type"},{"name":"year_sim","items":[{"value":"2009","hits":10,"label":"2009"},{"value":"2006","hits":6,"label":"2006"},{"value":"2005","hits":1,"label":"2005"},{"value":"2008","hits":1,"label":"2008"}],"label":"Year"},{"name":"format_sim","items":[],"label":"Format"},{"name":"member_of_collections_ssim","items":[{"value":"Covenant Theological Seminary","hits":18,"label":"Covenant Theological Seminary"}],"label":"Collections"},{"name":"degree_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":18,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Degree"},{"name":"discipline_sim","items":[],"label":"Discipline"},{"name":"degree_granting_institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Covenant Theological Seminary","hits":18,"label":"Covenant Theological Seminary"}],"label":"Degree Granting Institution"},{"name":"department_sim","items":[],"label":"Department"},{"name":"funder_name_sim","items":[],"label":"Funder Name"},{"name":"event_title_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Title"},{"name":"event_date_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Date"},{"name":"institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Atla RIM","hits":18,"label":"Atla RIM"}],"label":"Host Institution"}],"pages":{"current_page":1,"next_page":2,"prev_page":null,"total_pages":2,"limit_value":10,"offset_value":0,"total_count":18,"first_page?":true,"last_page?":false}}}
