The Crestview Baptist Church was not enjoying meaningful worship.  A project was designed to effect change in worship which sought to provide meaningful worship within the context of change and departure from the historical practice of the church.  The author employed a worship committee, teaching and preaching opportunities, opinion surveys, worship planning sessions and worship service implementation to effect change in worship. Praise is defined as the demonstrative expression of adoration to God for God and his acts in history.  The project identified the biblical, theological and historical bases for expanding praise in worship.  Various elements of worship through which praise is offered are identified.  Changes in the expectations of congregants are analyzed by comparing three questionnaires completed at different times during the project period.
