To achieve this goal, the first chapter describes the problem. The second chapter is a biblical and theological defense for using modern communication techniques to deliver the ancient stories of scripture. The third chapter reveals some of the common techniques professionals use when making television shows and commercials, and the relevancy of using such information in sermons. The fourth chapter contains a lesson plan and handouts used to teach preachers the information contained in chapter three. Prime's The power of prayer and Talbot Chambers's The noon prayer meeting of the North Dutch Church, Fulton Street, New York, this study seeks to expand the narrative to include the historical material of the time.  This project includes an examination of literature seeking relevant opinions and insights into the Fulton Street prayer meetings.  The foundational historical framework for the revival is presented in two elements.  First, an examination is made of the historical context of the revival, including changes in the United States from 1812 to the Civil War, focusing on the economic, geographic, political, journalistic, and social elements. The study also investigates the opinions and resources offered by Christian ministry leaders working in the field of sexual addiction. The outcomes show, in a random sampling of volunteer chaplains, over 40 percent demonstrated strong signs of sexually addictive behavior. Interview results affirm that although resources exist to provide preventative education and treatment for sexual addiction, many barriers exist to confronting the issue. Denial in the church is not the least of these. Ironically, the church holds the keys to healing and healthy sexuality. These sermons are designed for use during an outreach camp setting. The author reviewed the state of adolescent culture and wrote a theological case for proclamation and incarnational ministry. A basic framework for evangelistic message sequences is offered and a message sequence along with seven manuscripts were written. In August 2004, these sermons were presented during four camp settings. They were revised and presented again in April 2006 and August 2006 during three camp settings. To get congregations 'on the way' toward a revitalized spirit, this project presents through a leadership conference the conceptual (culture and leadership) and theological (church identity) foundations of an integrated pathway (spiritual, structural, theological, and conceptual) of renewal. Chapter three is a review of literature researched by the author in defense of the thesis.  Chapter four presents case studies: one major case, followed by abbreviated cases, concluding with a reflection on bereavement. The major premise of this work is that preachers should go through a process of theological principlization in validating their applications. Exposition demands authoritative application. Authoritative application comes only from the author's intent. The need for this thesis became apparent through bibliographic research which revealed limited works covering the process of principlization. Chapter two affirms the need to principlize and the validity of the method. The overall framework of this project is reflected in what Dr. Eldin Villafañe refers to as 'the hermeneutical circle of social ethics.' The description of this paradigm involved three important steps, which have each been presented from a systemic point of view: Clarification - what's going on? Conceptualization - what does the Bible and other pertinent discipline say? Confrontation - how do we respond? The first step, clarification involves doing careful social analysis to gain a contextual and comprehensive picture of the issue. It includes three important elements: the context of the Latino immigrants, the relevant needs of the LAtino immigrants, and the context of the Congregation Candelero de Dios (it is the introduction and chapter one). The second step, conceptualization involves biblical and theological reflection. The third step, confrontation involves developing clear strategies that flow out of confluence of the first two steps (chapter five). The thesis begins by surveying the congregation to learn about their three greatest personal crises.  Thirteen messages were delivered on Sunday mornings to address these crises.  Detailed fill-in-the-blank sermon notes were included in each Sunday's bulletin.  These inserts were accumulated into a resource booklet after the project as a quick reference tool to assist the congregation in caring for their neighbours, family and friends during a future crisis.  The work includes the results of the congregational survey and concludes with a chapter highlighting the outcomes established by the
