The Abrahamic traditions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam together provide a lens for transforming Christian education. The frame of deep pluralism reinforces both openness and faithfulness. Congregants become 'confirmed' (strengthened together) as Christian 'confidels' (with faith) as they faithfully emulate Christ's incorporative love and appreciate other traditions. Such churches often become stuck in a cycle of bad relationships with pastors, which is triangulated into conflicted relationships between the members of the congregation. This project describes the two-year pilgrimage of healing for 'Church of the Warm Heart.' Four factors were primary instruments for healing. The congregation made a choice to heal. A process addressed conflict, grief and shame.
