The project's purpose was to examine how Christian faith is affected by human experience.  A typology of human experience was developed. The typology consisted of four types of human experiences: 1) human development; 2) human relationship; 3) transpersonal experience; 4) transformational experience. Participants' responses to various questions and exercises are analyzed as to their meaning in regard to faith. The congregation of 175 was analyzed by interviews with 68 of its members.  These interviews allowed a glimpse of the variety of eschatological symbols and images prevalent in a Presbyterian congregation. The project returned eschatology to the level of congregational theological discourse.
