Min. project explored a number of issues and concepts about pastoral leadership in starting new churches that affect the growth and health of the new church.  It also tested a particular 'Profile of an Organizing Pastor' to see if it could predict which ministers would be most successful in starting new churches.  The research was a survey of the first pastors of non-racial/ethnic Presbyterian churches organized between 1982-1992. A history of drama and its use in the ancient times is presented with its present value as a communicative tool.  The author connects drama with the inherent qualities of the Gospel as a dramatic writing for evangelism.  The use of the word evangelism is examined along with its relationship to Christian education, Christian identity, American culture, and justice issues. The theological writings of Jurgen Moltmann offer the theological premise for the relating of drama and evangelism.  the author then composes four short plays on evangelism for use in a church. The theological model for this training revolves around the Biblical term 'Paraclete', which is used in the Gospel of John.  The three key attributes of the Paraclete, and thus the core curriculum for the training process are: 1) support and therapeutic alliance, 2) spiritual direction, and 3) effective prophetic confrontation. This study tests the hypotheses that parenting groups increase family satisfaction, and secondly, when compared to other methods of teaching, genograms are more helpful.  Ten parents were measured for family satisfaction before and after the group.  Participants ranked the helpfulness of genograms in comparison to other methods.  Results showed that the group using genograms improved family satisfaction.  Secondly, participants reported that genograms were only moderately helpful in comparison to other aspects of the class. Using a case study approach and drawing on biblical and historical themes, this project provides information about how to locate local church history and examples and illustrations for use in ministry. The purpose of this quantitative and qualitative research project was to determine those factors which contributed to this chasm between youth and church and make recommendations to address the problem.  Based on survey returns, barriers to youth participation were identified. Nine elders spent four months studying Bible passages related to spiritual gifts.
