In two workshops with a total of 26 persons, the project assigns participants to read Life Together by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, The Seven Storey Mountain by Thomas Merton, or Surprised by Joy by C S Lewis. Each participant must read all of one of the works and parts of the other two. As they work through these texts participants compose a spiritual autobiography, outlining it at the beginning and completing it for presentation at the end of the workshop. Writing a spiritual autobiography becomes an excellent way for these Christians to understand their pilgrimages. These Christians seldom read devotional literature or the Bible, but they pray, and they find communal reading and discussion of these classics helpful and inspiring."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799714698870915072,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T01:34:45.172Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T06:33:27Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T01:34:37Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"9a3db14b-0c17-4bd9-9a04-dc63d23d7eb9","accessControl_ssim":["5111f797-dfb1-428e-8fb7-20ab47b25d93"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Anointing the sick: a parish pastor poses questions of James 5:14-16"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T06:33:25Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T02:38:45Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["8c140fe8-6798-46fa-a919-334366ced26e"],"hasLease_ssim":["853c090c-b1e0-43e0-9021-e6f66c0975c8"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia"],"advisor_tesim":["LeRoy Aden"],"year_tesim":["1981"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["K Roy Nilson"],"publisher_tesim":["Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia"],"subject_tesim":["Church work with the sick","Bible.
