Worship is at the heart of the congregation.  Members need to make room for and value the gifts each one brings to the table.  With the development of a multi-layered program including worship education and the formation of Worship Design Teams, members had occasions to interact more boldly with scripture, liturgy and prayer, to wrestle with how best to proclaim the gospel, and to find their own place within the faith story. A unified identity will be developed through an understanding of Baptist heritage and its unique story.  Lay people and clergy worked in harmony with each other in this process.  Two main elements directed this search: four special 'period' worship services, and an 'experimental' service (focused on a potential future worship style).  The results of this investigation included a greater appreciation for both Baptist heritage and worship
