Corporate services of penitence and reconciliation lead these converts to reconciliation with new neighbors, despite a climate of racial hatred and violence in America. In this community of faith persons are empowered to minister in the midst of their own finitude and sense of brokenness, and discover God's strength in their apparent weakness.  The implicit challenge in this model is for the church to discover ways in which persons can continue to hear God's call in the ambiguity of their lives and find ever new and creative ways to respond to the living God on their own faith journey. This model of the church comes from the gospel of Mark that presents Jesus as a servant.  If we are to fulfill the servant ministry of Jesus in the church, we need to use the laity to reach others.  The challenge is to get the congregation to understand the meaning of a servant church.  The conclusion of the research revealed a need to revamp the organizational structure of the church. The Divine Creator is incarnate in the humanity and suffering of Jesus Christ; hence, secular medical science and spiritual ministry both provide qualitative value and unified reality as healing and comforting symbolization of God's abiding love now and eternally.
