This group consisted of associate ministers, deacons, trustees, Minister of Education, Sunday school teachers, and youth directors. The project consisted of three phases. First, the project director researched the teachings of the prosperity gospel in order to equip the selected leaders to give a biblical response. Secondly, the director developed training curriculum from an annotated bibliography that was evaluated by Dr. Page Brooks, Assistant Professor of Theology and Islamic studies at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS). To gain an understanding of the homebound, the project director researched and analyzed current methods of ministry to the homebound. Educational and homebound ministry professionals reviewed materials utilizing the development of the workshop sessions. The project director referenced the latest texts to explore methods and trends in caring for the homebound. In this project the project director explored the areas of visitation guidelines, effective communication, spiritual aspects, and maintenance of ties to the local church. The project enabled team members to locate and minister effectively to the homebound. Opportunities for role-playing gave team members enhanced ministry skills. The project methodology included PowerPoint presentations, role-plays, lectures, small group discussions, and handouts. The project director researched worldview and its impact on mission strategy. He further researched orality and orality-based mission strategies. He devised an equipping workshop to introduce a group of church members to the concepts of worldview and orality, and to Bible storying as a culturally appropriate orality-based mission strategy for developing house church leaders among the internally displaced people of Colombia. The project utilized several evaluative measures, including an expert-evaluated annotated bibliography, and expert critique of the lesson plans, pre- and post-workshop questionnaires, and a workshop evaluation form. The project director increased his knowledge of worldview and its implications for mission strategy. He also increased his understanding of orality and of Bible storying as a contextually-appropriate orality-based missions methodology. The project director designed this project utilizing the Strategy Planning model. The project began with the director researching a variety of disciple making methodologies. Secondly, the project director enlisted a select group of pastors, churches and convention staff, and associational workers to serve on a strategic task force. Thirdly, the director and task force developed a strategy for disciple making in an African American community church plant. A group of pastors and churches assigned to the project director participated in the project by teaching some disciple making materials to their congregations. The project director trained the participants during four instructional sessions on a Saturday. The project director also distributed additional materials for personal application. The first session of the workshop included instructing the selected members on the reason for a greeter ministry. The project director discussed biblical foundations and resources for a greeter ministry. Session two of the workshop focused on the responsibilities of the selected members for an effective greeter ministry. In the third session of the workshop, the group evaluated the comments from a 'secret worshipper' and developed a plan to enhance a guest's experience. Role-playing was utilized in the third session for the purpose of training the group. The goal of session four allowed the selected members to view the facilities and recognize ways in which signage and placement of greeters would help make the campus more
