Using Whitehead's theological method, a biblical-grounded basis, and contemporary-type small groups, the author tailed a variety of groups which provided new life and energy into the church.  Each set of groups was measured using objective data and subjective evaluations.  The membership, attendance and finances of the congregation dramatically improved during the project. The project used James and Evelyn Whitehead's method in ministry to research the area of pastoral concern for the author's Baptist congregation.  The project focused upon the teachers' and their students' personality types (Myers-Briggs), learning stages, developing stages, and their faith development stages. Without a practical and experiential example to follow, the people will not be able to hear the biblical story that will help them make positive spiritual commitments in their lives through the love of Jesus Christ. The preacher must regain and build their trust by having a good relationship with them and by telling biblical and contemporary stories that encourage their participation with the action of the text.  The easiest way to be truly inductive in our preaching is to start with a need of our people and take that need to the Scripture for God's help and response.  The inductive structures just naturally start with the particulars, the problems and the questions that lead to the biblical conclusions and their application. The method comes from a theology of administration based upon Paul's biblical themes of renewal, transformation, and implementation found in Romans 12:1-2.  The results are an initial acceptance of a three-year plan of administration together with goals for new ministries and programs. Evaluations of the project by church leaders are more positive toward the success of the church's ministry in the future. Couples are taught how to interview their partner using the structured interview guide to indicate areas of satisfaction and improvement.  The thesis proposed that the structured interview guide could be used as an instrument to improve communication between couples. The researcher found that married and remarried couples reported an increased satisfaction with their relationship as a result of using the guide.
