Teaching those benefits as signs of Christ's presence, this project sought to encourage modernist people to apprehend and talk about their experience of Christ.  Class sessions primarily involved lecture and discussion.  The course also included daily scriptural readings and reflections on the gospel of Mark. Four couples from the ages of twenty-five to forty years old participated in a monthly seminar for a period of five months.  The group also met monthly as a supporting group for four more months.  Several surveys were given to determine if there were any changes is attitudes, behaviors and actions of the participants. Using agape as an attitudinal guide for cooperation, each congregation reaffirmed its history and identity, adopted a purpose statement based on its resources and community needs, and ratified a minimum base for cooperation with its yoke partner.
