Yet, through video partnerships, these churches have a chance to be or become missional. The nature of these rural video partnerships has been to help existing but dying rural churches find support and facilitate its health and life. This project surveyed past and present video partners to help determine whether the partnerships were or are achieving those goals. Through a sermon series, a focus group Bible study, and questionnaires, the project sought to discover biblical and theological correspondence with the denomination's position. The key conclusion of the research was that with some exception there was among the congregation congruence with the denomination's doctrinal statement on a vital teaching that seems unpopular or unwelcome in the current climate of 'felt-needs' ministry. The intent of this project is to create an environment of transformation for the development of virtuous leaders at Crosspoint Church in Hemet, California.  This project, therefore, developed lectures on the creation ordinances of Genesis, the wisdom sayings of Proverbs, the beatitudes of Matthew's gospel, and the key vice and virtue lists of the New Testament.  The research design combined thirteen weeks of instruction, weekly sermonic reading, daily practice of the spiritual disciplines, and evaluation instruments.
