Worldview affects the cognitive, affective, and volitive center of a person, and therefore Christian ministry should seek to effect changes at the level of worldview.  Among Chinese intellectuals the May Fourth Movement at the beginning of the twentieth century initiated profound changes in worldview.  This project proposes that this moment in history Christians could effect a massive worldview change among contemporary Chinese intellectuals. The method of this project is accomplished through the analysis of data collected through library research, a questionnaire, and interviews. Sikhism and Christianity are compared, suggesting ways of communicating the gospel of Christ. This paper studies the reasons for church-mission tensions and proposes general solutions leading to a specific strategy.  The author, in addition to library research, draws upon his own personal experience of 13 years in Zaire.  A new model for church-mission partnership, characterized by mutual responsibility and interdependence is suggested. Called 'project mode,' this new paradigm for participatory partnership was submitted to 23 mission organizations for their evaluation. It compares the biblical, the American, and the Malawian world views. The project is divided into seven chapters and four appendices. Chapter one is an introductory chapter. Chapter two is the literature review. It describes world view literature in general, African world view, and Western world view. Chapter three deals with biblical world view literature. It includes contributions from various Christian writers, and their perspectives show the contrast between the biblical ideal and the reality of Western norms. Chapter four gives the historical, theological, and sociological background. Chapter five outlines the methodology. It discusses expected outcomes and the avenues to getting there. Chapter six, dealing with findings, is based upon the evaluation done by the students at the end of the course. The appendices include lesson plans for each day, the exams, and the evaluation sheet. The research method was to conduct open-ended interviews with leaders in churches, mission agencies, and foundations in order to build a philosophy of giving large financial grants. The research discloses that giving is best done through partnerships that are relational in nature. Three levels of strategic importance are delineated.
