The project addressed the need that many if not most churches in sending countries and those in mission fields call for true spiritual, holistic and contextualized worship to facilitate missions.  Further, contemporary worship and praise movements pose a challenge in the examination of relevance for missions.  The author represented the results in a workbook, which was evaluated by twelve missionaries. It is precisely because of God's work through Jesus Christ that He can and is restoring His created order and believing humanity back to His original intended purposes. Thus we are on a social collision course of epic proportions with no unifying catalyst in sight.  This paper is an appeal for the evangelical church to be this catalyst. We have not yet assumed that position. Insights gained are applied to prayer and evangelism.  Historical research was done, current residents were interviewed and conclusions have been drawn.  Specific redemptive gifts and spiritual strongholds were identified in the church and community. The author limited the scope of the study in the groups to five key areas of spiritual growth and the groups met for one and a half hours, once a week for forty one weeks.  The author evaluated the groups at the mid-point and at the end of the group life. Evaluative tools employe were surveys and personal interviews. Questionnaires were given at the beginning and at the end of the program.  The results of the questionnaires indicated that students grew in their Christian faith as demonstrated by an increase in discernible discipleship habits.  The liturgy helped facilitate that end.  The mentors developed relationships with the mentorees that empowered them to grow in their Christian faith. During the project, significant growth took place in the health and witness of the church.  Methods of assessment included the author's own Church Ministries Survey.
