evangelizing the Emerging Generation in Korea. The cultural changes of the Emerging Generation in Korean society were examined using the system perspectives approach. This study has four major parts. The first part examines changes in Korean society. The second part assists Korean churches in understanding the Emerging Generation's culture. The third part explores the barriers faced by Korean churches in reaching out to the Emerging Generation. The fourth part develops a model of missional worship to accommodate the needs of the Emerging Generation. Three research methods, questionnaires, group interviews and case studies were used to gather primary data. Questionnaires were given to 145 members of the Emerging Generation in Daejon. The questionnaires explored the Emerging Generation's culture. GROUP used Gathering, Resources, Opportunities, Understandings, and Participants as key ingredients in eradicating the damaging effects of racism on African American males between the ages of 15 and 19. The research was done at St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Chicago, Illinois. Religious belief systems of African Americans informed the process. Olive C.M.E. Church, Orlando, FL, was a program designed to respond to the problem of the diminishing number of youth and young adults in the CME church. A group of twelve diverse participants received mentoring, tutoring, and empowering throughout the project. Seven mentors, training classes, a twelve-weeks Rites of Passage program, and a graduation celebration was done. Pre- and post-test questionnaires were used. The church implemented a leadership program to teach youth how to manage a media ministry. Youth were taught by multi-media specialists principles of pre-production, production, post-production, and promotion. Using a questionnaire for pre- and post-test, levels of self-esteem were measured. Results show that media ministry activities contribute to the maintenance of youth's positive self-esteem. Further results show support for the thesis that the youth of today can contribute greatly to the local church. The model design consisted of a pre- and post-test survey and three workshop presentations. This action research model involved both the researcher as well as participants to effect changes in attitudes toward educational achievements. The study was implemented at Bashor Children's Home in Goshen, Indiana.  Four participants were selected for case studies that involve interviews and interventions designed to meet the specific spiritual needs of each individual youth.  The research was based on pre- and post-tests, surveys, and observations to measure the effects of this ministry technique. The model design consisted of three sermons with pre- and post-test surveys. This action research model involved the researcher's efforts to identify changes in attitudes of participants toward developing an authentic identity.  The model shows that the participants sometime judge themselves according to the perceptions and standards of whites.
