This group, project associates, led by the author, met to identify theological perspectives of the congregation, examine sociological information about the community and to formulate a strategy for ministry.  This strategy will direct the church in decisions concerning programming, staff and leadership, and use of facilities. The context of the study is marital therapy.  The possibility of denominalizing commonly used theological terms in the context of marital therapy hopes to give each member of the union additional choices over his-her communication and reconciliatory processes.  Evaluation of this experiment was pursued by subjective means with an emphasis on clinical observation. This project was accomplished by the author with the help of his congregation by developing a statement of mission and purpose.  Goals for continuing ministries developed from that statement then led to the necessity of expanding the facilities and, in this case, completely relocating them. The new facilities were consecrated in June, 1981, with over half of the total cost paid.
