The double paycheck couples' problems became barriers not only for the couples' relations but also for their child-rearing and faith journey. I endeavored to solve the couples' conflicts and problems by applying the concepts and techniques of the Imago Couples' therapy based on my survey of the biblical understanding and traditional Korean concept of couples' relation as companionship. The economy of Haiti during its three five-year-plans which includes the present time of 1985 is outlined to show the tremendous amount and increase in foreign aid during these years as compared with previous years.  The Methodist Church, the first Protestant group to enter Haiti, is described.  They, too, are growing due to foreign aid.
