Using style approach on leadership, the study evaluated how a change of a pastor's leadership in EunHyun church affected members' behavioral change. To test the research question, the study identified and assessed the previous and current pastors' leadership style. Subsequently, members were administered a survey in which three main variables were explored. The current pastor had a more relationship-focusing leadership than the previous pastor. A number of at-risk youth were used for this project. The research was done through qualitative studies, evaluations, counseling, spiritual training, and mentoring by parents, teachers, counselors and church leaders. The results of the study indicated that youth who receive a spiritual foundation were more able to assess challenging situations and apply techniques that led to better decision making than those not receiving a strong spiritual foundation."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799716164907040768,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T01:58:03.293Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:32:12Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:45:00Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"69892e56-59e7-4641-8faa-05a0f3ac4518","accessControl_ssim":["bb84c287-0727-4a5c-be60-46b5227c0a1d"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["A training model: discovering the spiritual gifts in pastors to grow healthy congregations in the Capitol District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church - Washington Conference"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:32:11Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:13:17Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["459cd9d1-ad65-4bec-8a4f-b79b243ffc6b"],"hasLease_ssim":["0f388c29-3c1c-408b-b43e-bc952268fb29"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["James M Shopshire"],"year_tesim":["2014"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. The goal of this project is to understand the principles behind the Bible's small groups, to understand the activity of small group movements by early Methodists and the modern cell movement, and to find a new model for the Luz Methodist Church. This project that the Luz members and I have worked together on for RELUZ (to light up again) revitalized the Luz church and brought in new members. Substantial church growth and revitalization came from remodeling the church through small groups combined with the cell church movement.
