The small group model includes both a didactic and a creative writing component. The adolescents, in addition to being very expressive about sexuality, gained understanding about the Bible and about sexuality. The context of this ministry model is a private school at Gravel Run Baptist Church in Dinwiddie, VA. Students were the same age, grade level, culture, and received similar courses of study. Student and parent interviews were also done to obtain deeper insight.
