Some of their traits can be positive such as quick communication, building on tradition, and mutual recognition. This project studied instances where negative expressions of single cell congregations were evident such as indirect communication, the making of scapegoats, and failing to observe boundaries. The action research method guided this intervention and engaged thirty-nine pastors and a group of laity in training, surveys, and interviews which examined this researcher's practice in the Capitol District.
