Project components included exploring selected new member assimilation strategies and component resources, strategy development through a discipleship training leadership team of the church, and the presentation of a strategy to the church for adoption.  The project director guided the strategy development process by selecting and utilizing a team of leaders from the discipleship training program who collaborated in developing the plan.  The completed strategy plan was presented to the church body for adoption as part of the disciple-making processes for all new members of Gloster Baptist Church. Preachers should focus instead on those prisoners who are trying to break free from the hold and effects of this prisonizing environment.  The transition from the self-absorbed dynamics of the prisoner social structure to the mutual, interpersonal ideals of society is a difficult process.  This struggle to break free from the hold of prisonization is really a response to the call to be more human. While the traditional assimilation model only takes a person from evangelization to membership in the church, the full assimilation model takes a person all the way from evangelization to maturity in Christ.
