Chapter 3 looks at assimilation in a postmodern world. It examines what we can learn from the study of postmodernity pertaining to the assimilation of new believers. Chapter 4 unveils the design and implementation of the project. An explanation of the implementation and evaluation of the program have been included. Chapter 5 assesses progress toward assimilating additional new believers at Calvary. A four-week course for new members was the heart of the program and required the project leader to design and acquire resources.  Church members and members of the staff provided assistance with the preparation, instruction, and execution of the program.  Each new member received information regarding the church, ministry opportunities, Baptist basics, and the Christian life.
