Questionnaires to the community, church and other similar Southern Baptist churches were used to provide data. Information drawn from the results of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator also aided in the development of the plan.  The concept of 'church types' provided help in determining goals for the congregations. Each principle was developed from exegesis of relevant selections of Scripture.  A worship project of five and one-half months involved the membership of the First Baptist Church, Laramie, Wyoming, as a test for the use of the principles.  Based on the response from worship surveys and use of worship guides, the principles were determined as valid for application in the three stated categories. The author researched and validated the centrality of preaching in the Baptist churches and shows that although Baptist theology of Scripture is high, it is characterized by narrowness seen in the use of favorite Scripture themes and biblical books.  He researched Baptist pulpit giants and states their method of text selection of waiting upon the Holy Spirit. After examining the contextualization of preaching and teaching from biblical and historical perspectives, the project presented the nature and principles of contextualizing preaching in reference to three sermon styles (expository, topical, and narrative).  Two messages of each sermons style were preached between a pre-test and post-test questionnaire.  Sermon evaluation forms were also used with six sermon evaluation committees. A Marriage Enrichment Seminar shows that in marriage worship becomes the adoration of the spouse to the exclusion of all other possible mates. Prayer becomes honest, loving communication. Obedience becomes mutual submission. The renewing church must find God's will for the future.
