Huntingdon College students served as interns at First United Methodist Church, Montgomery, AL. The author followed this parish from a time of low self-esteem to a position of vitality and less dependence on the diocese. The tool used to observe this change in this parish was ethnographic research and a focus on intentionality of worship, tradition, spirituality and story.
