The first step involves researching and addressing the awareness of the congregations understanding of biblical redemptive history. The second step involves enhancing the project director's skills in preaching Old Testament narratives. The research will include gleaning insight based in preaching Old Testament narratives. The project director will develop a sermon series from selected Old Testament narratives incorporating the common components necessary to address congregational awareness of biblical redemptive history. From rhetorical, theological, and ontological perspectives, Auctor adopted Exod 3:14 in his thesis statement (Heb 1:1-4) to be the most significant ontological signpost in his hermeneutic. The crux is that the name of God (i.e., YHWH) is revealed. Ontologically speaking, 'God speaks' is neither an Old Testament historical phenomenon, nor a Christ-event, but rather it is 'YHWH speaks' who timelessly and unchangeably reveals the reality of his Being and Word.
