The Navigator 2:7 Bible Study Series was the methodology used in this study. Southern Gables Evangelical Free Church, Denver, Colorado, provided the test groups in which growth or non-growth in discipleship was measured.  Measurement of progress was based on a testing instrument developed around the Navigator 'wheel' illustration. The objectives of this project are threefold: 1) It is designed to create a biblically based hermeneutic that utilizes the guidelines of scripture, tradition, experience, and reason; 2) The Bethel Series and the Trinity Bible Studies are evaluated in the light of this hermeneutic.  The evaluation of these series involved the compiling and comparing of questionnaires administered to a class using The Bethel Series and one using the Trinity Bible Series. This project uses Bible studies of sermon texts, questionnaires, and evaluations.  The author concludes that participation in a sermon text Bible study group helps make the sermon relevant for the group participant; however, the data does not show that the relevance of a sermon increases because hearers are used in a Bible study of the sermon text. The purpose was to improve faith resources for contemporary Christians.  In a series of ten lessons the project presented biographical statements and spiritually relevant issues.  A seven step decision-making process was the uniting theme.  Methods employed were sermons, pictures, role-playing, discussion, pre- and post-tests, and evaluation questionnaires. Members of the congregation were involved in disciplined study and living for an eleven week period.  The theological issues were: 1) the nature of the church as redemptive community; 2) Scripture as an authority for theology; 3) dangers of legalism moderated within a gospel of grace; 4) the quality of life within the small group; and 5) the difficulties of pluralism within a small group. The thesis was supported when the writer led a Bible study in a congregation previously unknown to him and he to them. They suggest that the practice of communal Bible study may be the key to re-forming the witness of local congregations. This project applies a missional hermeneutic, through the use of particular study questions, to the practice of communal Bible study in a local congregation. Discoveries made by participants are consistent with a 'missional church' understanding. The pattern of discoveries suggests that a 'missional church' understanding operates as a paradigm for congregants from being members of a local church to being disciples of Jesus Christ.  the methodology consisted of a series of classes and homilies that focused specifically on discipleship principles taught by Jesus.  the project was evaluated by using a pre-test and post-test survey to determine changes in behavior and attitudes regarding discipleship. results of the model showed that, as members become biblically literate, they are transformed into disciples and become actively engaged in doing the tings Jesus Taught and for leadership training in Thailand. The project was concerned about program objectives, design and results. The project examined theological, theoretical and cultural background studies useful to the appraisal. The project presented the history of the Home Bible Seminary in Thailand. A questionnaire was used to gain the students' perspective on the program. The study included recommendations on how to improve the program.
