Its research developed a definition for prophetic preaching by exploring the writings of the biblical prophets. It also studied the psychological, ecclesial, and cultural factors that encourage or discourage such preaching for today's priest. Through surveys and focus group sessions, the experience of today's Church with prophetic preaching was explored.
