A model was proposed to tackle this issue. Two major findings from the process are transferable across cultures. Both the scripture and history support the holistic transformation of the Heart, Hand and Head. To test the effectiveness of the researcher's project, two churches were selected as case studies. Each of these factors is analyzed to show its impact on congregations' response to keeping within the fellowship(s). The study utilized a qualitative design using semi-structured interviews with eight pastors who have served at least ten years in fulltime ministry. The unit of analysis was the critical incident method, and the resultant data was analyzed using the constant comparative method. The findings of this study confirmed that a gap exists between pastors' expectations, training, and practice of pastoral leadership.
