The study of four large North American Chinese churches will provide case studies profiles in order to learn what ministry paradigms are being used to minister to diverse, multicultural congregations. The project conclusion is that parallel ministry paradigm has the most to recommend for any growing Chinese church with multiple worship congregations and multiple pastoral staff. With rapid social reconfiguration and passive response of the church to the rising immigrant population, pastors should equip themselves in the wake of the spiritual harvest in the next millennium. The thesis uses sociological and biblical methods to investigate this social phenomenon.
