A variety of methods (combining both qualitative and quantitative) with an emphasis on the ethnographic methodology eliciting emic views have been used to gather descriptive data. In addition, historical archival research was conducted to examine the Chinese and Christianity and the Chinese diaspora in general. Emerging cultural themes enabled the analysis of opportunities and threats to reach the Chinese diaspora in Africa. Based on the Sermon on the Mount, the author sets a strategy and writes a curriculum to teach new immigrants to observe the Lord's commandment and to fulfill the Great Commission. This material should meet the need of and help the growth of their Christian faith, become a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven and be the salt and the light of the world. The purpose of the project was to assess the value of using a covenant to enhance the relationships between these pastors in Chinese churches in the San Francisco Bay Area. Data collected by survey, personal interviews, and and interactive seminar showed an overall positive opinion about the use of a covenant between the pastors. This is also an on-going issue occurring in Canada. The purpose of this study is to describe how two Chinese congregations and a mission organization evangelize older people in the city of Toronto. The researcher utilized a mixed methods approach to collect ethnographic data of Christian efforts evangelizing older people by the three groups of Christians. This project is an attempt to develop a strategy for effective disciple-making and leadership development in a college town church that has a very high turnover rate and a big potential to reach out to scholars from China. In a six month period ideas of the proposed approach were communicated to three groups of participants in multiple sessions of the groups' regular meetings to test the new model's effectiveness. The church is God's home so the method of church growth shall base on God's words. In book of Ephesians 4:11-16. gives us the most clear instruction of how to set up the strategies for church growth. Ten strategies were found from these verses, which as clear vision, functional administration, excellent spiritual leadership, solid equipment of Christian education, God's presence worship, upgraded spiritual life, loving and caring system, dynamic small group, effective spiritual gifts and united teamwork. By means of these strategies, Evangelical Chinese Bible Church grew from two families in 1972 to up to 2000 congregation in 2007. This will be done by developing and initiating a ministry plan for equipping members of First Baptist Church, Fayetteville, Arkansas. This local church will serve as the platform for this ministry plan. The ministry plan includes preaching messages on evangelism and the importance of discipleship. It involves teaching a seven week class to equip volunteers to evangelize Chinese students, including lessons on the biblical foundation for the need of salvation, the cultural and social needs of Chinese students, effective models for ministry, relationship building, the importance of witnessing, the introduction of tracts and videos, and the importance of baptism. The time frame for the ministry plan will begin with a two week plan for preaching the messages, nine weeks for recruiting ad equipping volunteers with an interest in Chinese student ministry, and one week for evaluation.
