This project is an exploration of the assertion that parents and church leaders should guide their children in order to lay foundations for faith. As a practical application of this assertion the author provides a curriculum for postmodern families to access as an at-home worship and Bible study experience. The paper includes a theology for the family, an exploration of the church's role in spiritual formation, and the literature review. The paper culminates in a curriculum entitled 'Children of the Bible' and features twelve lessons."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["31b95ee0-a31c-43dc-8ec9-d97b30239a2d"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791130242734096384,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:28:29.833Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T11:12:31Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:31:15Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"1bf9c6b6-1de3-4ecf-9094-39abc3db81c5","accessControl_ssim":["726ebf18-d862-4c1b-a2b3-1a11f4d87f0d"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Equipping a selected group of fathers from New Victoria Baptist Church, Woodstock, Georgia, to lead in the spiritual development of their children"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T11:12:27Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:57:21Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["97b0aa03-5824-4d35-8260-5ac831f74524"],"hasLease_ssim":["f6f2c9f1-f089-4b10-acd0-a4691270fe72"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["John F Gibson"],"year_tesim":["2006"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Monty P Guice"],"publisher_tesim":["New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["New Victoria Baptist Church (Woodstock, Ga)","Faith development","Christian education--Home training","Father and child","Spiritual formation"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The purpose of this project is to equip a selected group of fathers from New Victoria Baptist Church of Woodstock, Georgia, to lead in the spiritual development of their children.
