This project was an equipping model. The project director researched and developed materials to assist in the training of the selected participants. The equipping process included 1) providing a biblical rationale for grief and crisis care; 2) providing information and research regarding grief and crisis aftercare; and 3) training the group to minister to those who have experienced a failed adoption. The project involved research in the field of disciple making in various contexts. The project director developed lesson plans and led the equipping seminar. Fourteen adult LIFE group teachers participated. Seminar participants evaluated their own spiritual vitality through the use of a personal spiritual inventory. A set of guiding questions was designed to lead teachers to plan class experiences. The guiding questions were pre-tested, interviews were conducted, and the guiding questions were refined. A teacher used the guiding questions to create and lead an adult class. The resulting class was observed and evaluated. Follow-up interviews evaluated the guiding questions in diverse settings. As a result, the church is faced with spiritual stagnation that keeps it from growing.  The church has tried in vain to employ various programs to get over this.  Based on the pastoral analysis that the dullness of the class meeting is attributed to the lack of spirit and performance of the class leaders, this paper explores the ten components of servant leadership as a way of restoring the roles of the class leader and activating the function of the class meeting. The author examined biblical texts that dealt with the issue or recruiting and developing teachers.  In addition, the author researched foundational material that highlighted sound teacher training strategies. New and current teachers were utilized to sit through the training material and then teach a series of lessons using the training they had recieved.  Learning style surveys and post-lesson interviews were used to discover the effectiveness of the training model.
