Developed by the Episcopal Church as the 'Alabama Plan,' subsequently revised, and tested in two United Methodist churches, this model involves congregants in a stewardship event whereby they identify, share and revise their personal stewardship stories in the light of Scripture study and therein make their personal stewardship decisions. Passages from Malachi 3:6-12, Luke 16:1-13 and II Corinthians 8-9 were used.  Evaluation of the education utilized a questionnaire for measuring growth. Content evaluation was reviewed from biblical and financial application.
