Responses came from 181 pastoral graduates of the two seminaries. The issue of giving is one of the most neglected topics in Christian ministry today.  The main objectives of the project included: teaching biblical contents related to the concept of stewardship giving; helping participants actualize monthly tithes or increase monthly giving according to biblical teachings; developing a teaching program on stewardship giving to be incorporated into the teaching system of the church; and, helping the congregation to become more aware of the responsibility of being a steward in the Kingdom of God.  Evaluation results indicated that all objectives for the program were realized. The committee was exposed to the Hebrew Scriptures' understanding of the steward as the responsible householder of all creation and the Christian Scriptures' emphasis on Jesus Christ as God's chief steward.  After studying the nature of human identity and transformation, the committee then helped plan a sermon series on stewardship, recruited and conducted a sermon response group, and formulated a fall financial campaign.
