The study uses the Old Testament to research terms as they related to spirit beings, their power, the practices associated with them, and the locating of key texts dealing with this topic. All of this material was used as the basis to define a biblical view of the spirit world. Dialogue in this sense will be a theological metaphor not only about certain basic christological resonance in African belief and praxis, but also about a model for understanding other religions, which are God's gifts to humanity. Dialogue based on social justice and peace is the key to integral human development in Africa.
